Yangon City DevelopmentCommittee (YCDC) plans to undertake a projectconstructing a 181,800m3/day (40MGD) water treatment plant (WTP), two water service reservoirs, and water transmission and distribution main pipelines, rehabilitation and replacement of existing distribution pipelines includingrehabilitation of one service reservoir, and construction of threechlorinationfacilities, ((hereinafterreferred to as “Greater Yangon Water Supply Project; abbreviated as YWSP” or “the Project”) withJapanese ODA Loanprovided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the developmentfunds of the Government of Republic of the Union of Myanmar (GOM).

GOM has received a Japanese ODA Loan to finance YWSP. GOM intends to use part of the proceeds of the Japanese ODA Loan for eligible payments for consulting services for which this TOR is issued.
